Selecting Backup from the left-hand side of the program will automatically begin the synchronization and backup of your files to the SpeedyBackup cloud. SpeedyBackup will back up all specified file types inside the folders you have chosen to include in the backup.

Note: If the backed up folder contains other folders that are on the Exclude list, those excluded folders and contents will not be backed up. If your files and folders are successfully backed up they will display a green or yellow overlay icon. If you do not see this icon on a particular type of file please review the file types that you have chosen to include in the backup.

You can use the Explorer options to right-click a folder and add it to SpeedyBackup, or you can locate the folder and add it directly within the program.

Right-click to add a folder:

1. Right-click a folder that has been excluded from SpeedyBackup.
2. Choose Backup with SpeedyBackup.
3. The program window will open to the default page.
4. You can go to the Include tab from the Settings page to confirm that the folder has been included.

Remove a folder from SpeedyBackup:

1. Right-click a folder that has been backed up and select SpeedyBackup.
2. Choose Exclude from SpeedyBackup.
3. The program window will open to the default page.
4. You can go to the Exclude tab from the Settings page to confirm that the folder has been included.

Change the SpeedyBackup options for a folder:

1. Right-click any folder and select SpeedyBackup.
2. Choose Set SpeedyBackup settings for folder.
3. The program window opens to the Include tab of the Settings page.
4. From here, you can add the folder and choose additional file extensions to back up in the selected folder.

Use the program to choose folders to backup:

1. Open SpeedyBackup and click Settings from the upper-right hand side of the program.
2. Click on the Include tab.
3. Click Add Folder(s).
4. Navigate to the folder you wish to back up.
5. Click OK to start backing up the selected folder.
